Ratan & Sons is one of the best Optical House in the Steel city of Jamshedpur. It is Parsi run family business retail shop at Bistupur in the heart of Jamshedpur, the city established and managed by the Famous Tata's.
Credit goes to the ever smiling and courteous Mr. Hormuz Malegamwalla the youngest son of the founder, Mr. Ratan malegamwalla, who quit his affluent job in the Tata's to follow his father's footstep to be the favourite Optician of many in this beautiful city in Easter India.
The Managemnet of this retail shop is held by the afafble couple of Mr. Hormuz Malegamwalla & Mrs. Daisy Malegamwalla. Married for now 30 years they have given everything to this Optical shop. They say when you give the best you overcome all the lows and emerge victorious. They have been the biggest example of hardword, dedication and smart work put together that has resulted in Ratan & Sons to survive over 50 years in the running.
Mr. Malegamwalla, was still in his early twenties with a job at the Tata's decided to quit his job and follow his father's foot steps. It was indeed a make or break decision. However 40 years down the line and the Optical house still running with a name for itself in Jamshedpur standing tall, this still young kid at heart has done a good job!
Add to that the saying, "Behind every successful man there is a woman" calls for a perfect masala Boollywood Pot-boiler. Now, it can't get any truthful than this. She is the core of the business taking all strategic decisions and is one the primary reasons for the business to survive the lows and manage to still put a good show! All we can say is Good Work!
